I’m a writer, traveler, and former entrepreneur of Scotch-Irish descent. My primary focus is contemporary art. I try to write about it in ways that celebrate its complex role in our contemporary moment while providing accessible entry points for broader audiences beyond the art world. This site is my late attempt to make available my archive of past writing (much of which was actually written with pen and paper) while also providing an outlet for new reviews. It’s a work I progress and updates happen on an irregular basis. I’m available for commissions as my capacity allows.
